SHOULD WE LOWER OUR EXPECTATIONS OF SPIRIT?

The environment I use for transcribing the words I receive from the other side is a private one. The connection is done in private without an audience. I am penning the words I hear in my mind after I’ve sat in the power for a short time.
I don’t expect every session to reveal something new about their world compared with ours. All I expect is to listen to someone over there that wants to connect and talk to me. Often those conversations are trivial, or small-talk, as in today’s example.
That reflects our own conversations with each other too. If every word that left our lips was powerful or insightful to the listener our life would become rigid and without character and personality.
If you are one of those folks that would love to have a conversation with the other side, the onus is on you to make it happen. But don’t expect the words to be supercharged with insights. Instead, expect the conversation to be quite ordinary, as it would naturally be with anyone you meet for the first time.
Writing their words is nothing more than mental mediumship. It’s about connecting, trusting and transcribing what it is you hear in your mind. That is the mechanics of the process in a nutshell. Just lower your expectations of what it is you expect to hear!

You are getting very regular, aren’t you? It’s a good energy. You’ve asked for a female today - here I am! Let me ask you though, why did you reject your mother who asked to speak? It’s your disbelief overpowering your thoughts, isn’t it?
Why did you want a female speaker anyway? Was it because some of the male speakers you’ve had recently have seemed a bit hard on you? What makes you believe I’ll be easier on you?
You have a lot of feminine energy in your mix. You like the softer and non-threatening aspects of it. Where we are all going eventually does not recognise specific genders. We will be all equal and as one.
Your new office is bringing you good vibes and inspiration. You will receive more listeners and readers over time, I’m sure of that.
May I use this moment to convey a message to one of your listeners? I won’t give you her name, because it is a private matter. Here I speak to her now.
My dear lady. Why have you chosen to not do something about your problem? You know what I’m talking about, without me needing to get this man to write it.
What has it been now? Six months? Longer? Please listen to me. You must sort this out now. Don’t delay anymore. Stop putting it off. Get it sorted without hesitation. Now you know I’m not the only person in spirit to share this with you. Even if my words only act as validation, then please, do something about the issue.
Have I said enough for the message to sink in? Yes, the message is for you. I am talking to you and only you.
Now Trevor, thank you for allowing me to do that. You see, your call for a female was how we get the signal to you. We had planned to do this and you played along.
I know that you won’t get validation for that message, but you also know that that is not important. But I will suggest that between now and when you prepare these notes for your readers, you’ll have the name ‘Crystal’ come into your path.
My job is done and I will therefore love you and leave you. Thank you for inviting me. By the way, give your Mum a voice. She’d love to talk to you.

When I originally posted this session to the More subscribers, I gave this session a higher awareness than the one below. Because I have learnt so much about this process since then, I am now able to expect more from my connection with the spirit world.
As I’ve mentioned before, when we are connecting to the spirit world in a personal situation, such as this, it is unreasonable to expect every conversation to be ground breaking and enlightening. The words shared with me in this sample represent a normal conversation where I am undemanding in expectations of evidence or something to stir my thoughts.
This is how I expect readers of my work to approach these sessions. Treat them as normal conversations with someone in the spirit world having a normal chat with me. Occasionally, we do get amazing glimpses into their life, and sometimes something appropriate for us to know.

Hi Trevor,
Thank you for sharing this and just to say. The conversations I have with my own Dad vary from family matters. Like he would have done had he still been on the earth plane.
To encourage, support, love and the honest truth.
To talking about world events, national events that impact on our daily lives. Being honest and not sugar coating things I am not a child.
At other times my Dad calls us humans and I am reminded, that he has been in spirit world for 23 yrs and he has progressed a lot in that time.
I have been shown some of the public squares in dream time. The halls of healing.
The halls of learning, the library, the Akashic records office
They have a lot of rules, regulations and laws compared to us.
I am always being told to enjoy our free wills down here we take it for granted. It is a great gift we receive for amnesia of the spirit world.
Very few fully understand it until they have returned home.
It is a pity but it is what we are judging our life down here on during our life reviews.
Did we use it wisely, kindly, helping our fellow humans? Did we let our Ego's get in the way and lead us astray or talk us out of things ?
Listen to your own intuition and learn to trust it. It is our guidance keeping you all safe and well. This was a recent message I received from my guides.
